Grammy award winning songwriter and producer Jodi Marr cut her teeth writing songs and fronting bands in the Florida music scene in the late 1990’s. A graduate of the University of Miami, School of Music, Arts & Sciences, she was signed to Universal Records by Producer DESMOND CHILD with her band BIG in 1999.

She broke first as a writer in the Latin Market, winning a Grammy in 2003 for her first number one single “DE VERDAD” from the Rock Album of that year “SOY” by ALEJANDRA GUZMAN, and then went on to pen songs for Ricky Martin, RBD, Luis Fonsi, Paulina Rubio and most recently, Ednita Nazario.

In 2006 Jodi was introduced to a then unknown 19-year-old London based university student named MIKA, whom she developed and was ultimately signed by Universal Music Group global chairman Lucian Grainge. Mika’s debut album “Life In Cartoon Motion”, on which Marr produced several songs, and was credited as associate producer, went on to sell over 7 million copies worldwide, achieving gold or platinum sales in 32 markets.

In 2013 Jodi started and artist and development and management venture with a UK partner,.  She is creative Director of  AbFab  Artists, with  offices in Miami, London and Nashville, and planning to debut new signings in early 2015. They are actively seeking new talent .  Contact
